In our review, Mitchell Saltzman noted Stellar Blade's impressive strengths alongside clear weaknesses. While the story and characters lack depth, and some RPG elements feel underdeveloped (like repetitive side quests), the Sekiro-inspired combat system shines. The challenging enemies and hidden rewards incentivize exploration, making up for some narrative shortcomings. IGN awarded it a 7/10, though personally, I found it more deserving of a higher score. Stellar Blade is graphically demanding. I recommend "Performance" mode for a smooth 60fps experience on a standard PS5.
