My Father Lied A Mesopotamia-themed Point and Click Title Launches in May
Unravel the mystery of your father's disappearance in "My Father Lied," a captivating point-and-click adventure game launching May 30th!
Ahmed Alameen, writer and filmmaker, presents his debut title: a narrative-driven puzzle game inspired by Mesopotamian history. Step into the shoes of Huda, a young woman who embarks on a journey to uncover the truth behind her father's vanishing twenty years prior, a mystery further complicated by the recent revelation of a previously unknown sibling.
Alameen, initially collaborating on the project, took the reins as a solo developer after the team dissolved, mastering game design to bring his vision to life.
Experience immersive gameplay using classic point-and-click mechanics to explore richly detailed environments, solve intricate puzzles, piece together fragmented images, decipher codes, and more. Alameen cites influences from Myst, Heaven's Vault, and the chilling works of H.P. Lovecraft.
Employing a blend of 2D and 360-degree imagery, including meticulously crafted frame-by-frame cutscenes, Alameen achieved stunning visuals optimized for even low-spec PCs.
"My Father Lied" arrives May 30th on App Store, Google Play, and Steam (priced at $10.99/€10.99). Add it to your Steam Wishlist now! Mobile pre-registration isn't yet available.
