HoYoverse has unveiled details for Honkai: Star Rail's version 2.6 update, "Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age," launching October 23rd. This update transports players to Penacony and its vibrant Paperfold University, celebrating its anniversary with a bustling campus atmosphere, club recruitment drives, lively music, and academic festivities.

The Spotlight: Rappa

The update introduces Rappa, a new 5-star Galaxy Ranger character who identifies as a ninja. Her gameplay revolves around ninjutsu, incorporating ninja mantras, scrolls, graffiti, and rap elements. Rappa's quest focuses on hunting down the villainous Evil Ninja Osaru, culminating in a unique ultimate attack, Sealform Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade, featuring a first-person perspective for enhanced combat immersion and enemy Toughness reduction.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 Events

• Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription: Manage a band for the Dreamlight Anniversary music party, collaborating with Rappa for an electrifying performance.
• Warp Event: Limited 5-star characters Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine return in the warp event, spanning both halves of the update.

Simulated Universe Expansion

Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6 significantly expands the Simulated Universe. Following the success of Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears, the third DLC, "The Unknowable Domain," introduces a vast void linked to post-Second Emperor's War conflicts among scholars over the Scepter system—a powerful external thinking unit composed of inorganic bionic neurons. Players will collect Scepters, upgrade them using Components, and leverage synergistic abilities to conquer a challenging final boss.
