Assassin's Creed Shadows: Trailer Highlights Enhanced PC Features
Ubisoft's new trailer for Assassin's Creed Shadows showcases the PC version's enhanced features. The trailer highlights support for upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, ultra-wide monitor compatibility, real-time ray tracing (RTGI and RT Reflections), and extensive configuration options for less powerful PCs. A built-in benchmark tool is also included for performance testing.
Minimum specifications for 1080p at 30 FPS include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8GB) GPU. High-end players aiming for 4K, 60 FPS with ultra settings and ray tracing will require an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, and an RTX 4090 (24GB) graphics card.
Ubisoft collaborated with Intel to optimize the game for their processors. Post-launch performance analysis on AMD systems is planned. The community is keenly interested in whether the game addresses the stuttering problems present in previous Assassin's Creed titles. Mirage demonstrated a marked improvement in this area compared to Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.
Assassin's Creed Shadows launches on March 20th for PC and consoles.
