Application Description
The Guardians of the Road project has been relaunched with a significantly improved app, offering a more convenient and user-friendly experience. Join the Road Guard project and help save lives!
Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road – the road of all of us" project aims to raise awareness and deter unsafe driving practices. As of January 1, 2023, the project is managed by the Safe Path association.
Any citizen over 18 can download the "Road Guards" app and start documenting traffic violations. Operation is simple and quick: activate the app before driving, and when you witness a violation, activate the reporting feature. This can be done via voice command or by pressing a Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then begin recording video and audio evidence of the infraction.
This evidence is transmitted to a control center staffed by experienced volunteer controllers. Following review, a "letter on the way" is sent to the driver, including a link to the recorded video. In cases involving life-threatening violations, the report is forwarded directly to the police.
