Where To Find the Cat Island in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
In Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Valhalla, players encounter a diverse range of wildlife during their adventures. Beyond the usual suspects like dogs, foxes, and deer, there's a hidden feline paradise waiting to be discovered: Cat Island. This guide will show you exactly how to find it.
To reach this purrfect location, you'll need to progress to the Omi region, roughly midway through the main storyline. Ensure your character is adequately leveled and prepared for the challenges ahead before venturing northeast to Omi.
The island you seek is nestled in Lake Biwa, the large body of water dominating the region's center. It's highly recommended to secure a boat, either from the settlements of Azuchi or Omizo. Alternatively, the adventurous can attempt a swim, but be prepared for a longer journey!
Your target is the larger island in the lake's center, situated northwest of Azuchi. Upon arrival, you'll discover Okishima, complete with a Kakurega for a well-deserved rest. The abundance of dried fish near the docks hints at the island's feline residents.

To encounter the island's feline population, head north towards the Leap of Faith. As you ascend, you'll begin to see more and more cats. Pet them to add these adorable creatures to your Hideout collection, particularly the rare kittens, which are difficult to find elsewhere.
While the Leap of Faith offers a thrilling experience, Okishima's true treasure lies in its adorable feline inhabitants. After exploring and completing the Leap of Faith, you can revisit the cats whenever you wish. You'll even return to Okishima later in Yasuke's storyline.
