OBD2 Test

Potenza Drive is a demanding application that pushes your system to its limits, requiring up to 140 parameters per second¹ for its real-time sound effects. Your experience will vary depending on your specific setup, encompassing your mobile device, OBD-II ELM327 adapter (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or USB), vehicle OBD-II protocol, and sound system. This diagnostic tool allows you to test your system's capabilities and identify any potential bottlenecks. Two tests are available:

TEST 1 (NORMAL COMMUNICATION): Evaluates standard communication speed.

TEST 2 (FAST COMMUNICATION): Tests the maximum communication speed, supported only by certain vehicle OBD-II protocols.

¹Only ISO 15765-4 CAN OBD-II protocols, using adapters with high-quality chips, can achieve the 140 parameters per second data rate. Older protocols may only deliver 4 parameters per second in the worst-case scenario.
