Feral Interactive, renowned for its mobile ports, is significantly upgrading its mobile version of Creative Assembly's Rome: Total War. The Imperium update delivers a wealth of new mechanics and quality-of-life improvements, including highly anticipated mouse and keyboard support.

Many of these additions mirror mechanics from Feral's PC remaster of Total War: Rome, bringing familiar enhancements to the mobile experience. While the PC remaster has its detractors, few would argue against the value of these quality-of-life features.

So, what exactly does the Imperium update offer? Seasoned veterans will appreciate the addition of Positioning Mode, Melee Mode, and Automatic Deselection, features previously introduced in the Medieval II mobile port.

And the cherry on top? Keyboard and mouse support! Android and iOS players can now enjoy familiar desktop controls, offering a superior way to experience the original Rome: Total War in all its polygonal glory.
