Zenless Zone Zero Unveils S-Rank Banner Reruns in 1.5

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 introduces the highly anticipated return of S-Rank agents Ellen Joe and Qingyi. This marks a significant shift for the game, which previously focused solely on new agent introductions, unlike its sister titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.

The Version 1.5 update is divided into two phases. Phase 1 (January 22nd - February 12th) features the new agent Astra Yao alongside a rerun banner for Ellen Joe, originally released in Version 1.1. This phase also includes Ellen Joe's Agent Story. Phase 2 (February 12th - March 11th) introduces Evelyn Chevalier and a rerun banner for Qingyi, also from Version 1.1. Both rerun banners will also offer their respective W-Engines.

This rerun system mirrors the popular banner rotation seen in Genshin Impact. The decision to finally implement reruns addresses fan demand and provides players who missed previous releases, or are new to the game, a chance to obtain these sought-after characters. The confirmation of these reruns follows speculation surrounding Version 1.4, which ultimately did not include this feature.

Furthermore, Version 1.5 brings three new character outfits: "Chandelier" for Astra, "On Campus" for Ellen, and "Cunning Cutie" for Nicole. The "Cunning Cutie" outfit for Nicole will be available as a reward during the Day of Brilliant Wishes event. The inclusion of these outfits adds another layer of excitement to the update.
