Old School RuneScape unleashes its thrilling new chapter, Varlamore: The Rising Darkness! This expansive update introduces a chilling adventure in the northern regions, culminating in a deadly encounter.

New Challenges and Rewards Await:

Prepare to confront Hueycoatl, a colossal serpent lurking in the perilous Hailstorm Mountains. Team up with unlikely allies—members of the Dwarven Party and a priest—to overcome this formidable beast. Victory yields impressive rewards, including the Tome of Earth, the Dragon Hunter Wand (the first magic-infused dragonbane weapon!), and the Hueycoatl Hide Armour, a testament to your triumph.

Beyond the icy peaks, the island of Aldarin beckons with new Herblore challenges. Cultivate, blend, and master alchemic techniques using a diverse range of herbs.

For a change of pace, tackle the Colossal Wyrm Agility Course. Aid the aging anteater, Worm Tongue, in his battle against a termite infestation threatening the Wyrm's remains. Successfully saving the Wyrm earns you Agility XP and valuable rewards, such as the stylish Varlamore Graceful Recolour and a skeletal transmog for your Squirrel pet.

Continuing the Storyline:

Varlamore: The Rising Darkness continues the narrative established in Children of the Sun and Twilight’s Promise with the new quest, The Heart of Darkness.
