Speed Demons 2 Announced for PC

Radiangames has announced Speed Demons 2, a side-scrolling highway racer reminiscent of the classic Burnout series. This PC title, a sequel to a mobile original, boasts a similar high-speed aesthetic and gameplay, and is slated for release later this year.

The developers highlight a unique control scheme: "The controls are focused on movement, not steering. You'll still have gas, brake, and turbo (or ability) buttons, but you move the analog stick (or mouse) up and down to control your vehicle's direction." They assure players this unconventional approach proves surprisingly intuitive.

Speed Demons 2 offers ten game modes, including the aggressively-named Pursuit, Takedown, and Rampage—all requiring players to eliminate other vehicles within a time limit. For a different challenge, Scratchless mode mirrors Burnout's Burning Lap, rewarding players for reaching the finish line with minimal vehicle damage.
