Which Nintendo Franchise Deserves a LEGO Set the Most in 2025?

LEGO and Nintendo have teamed up to produce some fantastic LEGO Nintendo sets. Last year saw the release of the interactive Mario and Yoshi set, along with the first-ever LEGO Legend of Zelda set. While these are excellent, many other iconic Nintendo franchises remain untapped.

Currently, the selection leans heavily towards various Mario sets (including Donkey Kong) and a good number of Animal Crossing sets. This leaves many fans, myself included, wanting more. Therefore, I ask: Which Nintendo franchise deserves the LEGO treatment next?

The upcoming Switch 2 and Nintendo's continued investment in movies (the new Mario movie and the eventual live-action Zelda) suggest more LEGO Nintendo sets are likely. What franchises could realistically see LEGO releases in 2025 and beyond? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Personally, I believe Metroid offers the most potential for amazing LEGO sets. With Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon, it's the perfect time for some impressive builds. Additionally, I'd love to see official LEGO Pokémon sets, beyond the existing MEGA sets, though licensing agreements might present a challenge.
