Avid Games has crafted a visually stunning array of monsters, each inspired by real-world horrors from mythology and folklore worldwide.

The game boasts an impressive roster, encompassing creatures from diverse cultures. Encounter Japanese Yokai like Jikininki and Kuchisake, and Slavic monsters such as Vodyanoy and Psoglav. Bigfoot, Mothman, the Nandi Bear, El Chupacabra, and countless others—both terrifying and intriguing—await discovery. Each card includes detailed, well-researched descriptions, enhancing the learning experience.

Eerie Worlds features four Alliances (Grimbald, Zerrofel, Rivin, and Synnig) and multiple Hordes. This intricate system allows for monsters to share some traits while differing in others, creating significant strategic depth.

Your monster collection, known as your Grimoire, can be upgraded by merging duplicate cards. Starting with 160 basic cards, merging unlocks many more, with additional cards planned for the near future.

Avid Games has confirmed the addition of two more Hordes in the coming months, ensuring Eerie Worlds offers ongoing challenges and replayability.

Gameplay involves assembling a deck of nine monster cards and one world card, then engaging in nine intense 30-second turns. Strategic decisions regarding mana management and synergistic combinations are crucial for success.
