Season 1 of Marvel Rivals, "Eternal Night Falls," launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, introduces a thrilling new map: the Sanctum Sanctorum. This iconic location will host the game's new Doom Match mode, a free-for-all brawl for 8-12 players where the top half emerges victorious. The season's storyline pits the Fantastic Four against Dracula, setting the stage for epic confrontations.

The Sanctum Sanctorum, alongside Midtown and Central Park maps, expands Marvel Rivals' locales. Midtown will feature a new convoy mission, while Central Park's specifics remain under wraps, slated for a mid-season update.

A recent video showcased the Sanctum Sanctorum's unique blend of lavish decor and unsettling elements. Floating kitchenware, a strange squid-like creature escaping the refrigerator, winding staircases, and magical artifacts create a visually captivating and unexpected atmosphere. Even a portrait of Doctor Strange himself adds a touch of whimsicality to this otherwise chaotic battleground. The trailer also features a surprise appearance of Wong and Doctor Strange's ghostly canine companion, Bats.

The Fantastic Four take center stage in the absence of Doctor Strange, leading the charge against Dracula's forces. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman debut with Season 1, while Human Torch and The Thing join the fray in the mid-season update.
