The Lenovo Legion Go S boasts an 8-inch display, powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go processor, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. Its redesigned, lighter and more rounded form factor eliminates the removable controllers of its predecessor. While the Windows version is available for pre-order now, a more budget-friendly SteamOS version is slated for a May release.

IGN's Jacqueline Thomas, after experiencing the Lenovo Legion Go S at CES 2025, commented on its comfortable design: "Even with its large screen, it feels comfortable, especially without the knobs and dials of the original. The smooth, rounded sides and textured grips enhance the hand-feel and likely improve grip."
