Healing Guide for Dynasty Warriors Origins
In Dynasty Warriors: Origins, taking damage is part and parcel of the gameplay experience, especially for newcomers who might be eager to learn how to heal efficiently. Fortunately, healing in this game is user-friendly, achieved through the use of a specific consumable item. Additionally, the game offers an auto-healing feature, which can be a lifesaver for players who prefer not to constantly monitor their health levels.
How to Heal in Dynasty Warriors: Origins
As with its predecessors, healing in Dynasty Warriors: Origins is done with meat buns. These can be obtained by smashing pots scattered around enemy bases. Additionally, on the Historian and Wayfarer difficulty settings, defeating Enemy Officers might reward you with meat buns. However, note that on Hero and Ultimate Warrior difficulties, officers will no longer drop these healing items.
To use a meat bun during battle, simply press Up on the D-Pad, provided you have at least one in your inventory. If your inventory is full when you pick up a meat bun, it will be automatically consumed unless you are already at full health, in which case it will stay on the ground. Starting with a capacity of three meat buns, players can enhance their storage with the Meat Bun Glutton skill if they find three buns insufficient for their needs.
For those who prefer a hands-off approach to healing, the "Auto-Use Meat Buns" option is available in the Configuration menu. Once enabled, meat buns will be automatically consumed when your health drops below a certain threshold. Even with auto-healing enabled, players can still manually use meat buns, making it a versatile option to consider even if you don't intend to rely on it exclusively.
