How to Get Serafin and Bliss

The first two members you'll recruit are Serafin and Bliss. Serafin remains with your crew throughout the game but is generally unavailable for Contracts. Both Serafin and Bliss are automatically unlocked and do not have any associated achievements.

How to Get Juni

You'll meet Juni as a temporary crew member on Hexport in *Citizen Sleeper 2*. Although Juni will leave the group temporarily, you can recruit them permanently by heading to Helion Gate. After completing the Idle Minds clock at the Solheim Records area, you'll trigger a cutscene with Juni. Complete the subsequent Contract and agree to let Juni rejoin your ship.

Recruiting Juni unlocks the Data Archaeologist achievement.

How to Get Yu-Jin

You'll encounter Yu-Jin on Far Spindle after completing the Getting Wracked clock at Gaia’s Gyre. To do this, select "Order a Wrack" four times, costing you a total of 16 Cryo. After completing this, you'll have the opportunity to talk to Yu-Jin and receive a Contract from him. Upon finishing the Contract, you can recruit Yu-Jin permanently.

Recruiting Yu-Jin unlocks the The Freelancer achievement.

How to Get Luis

During the Aphelion Beacon contract, you'll have the option to leave Yu-Jin behind. Choosing to do so will allow you to recruit Luis.

Recruiting Luis unlocks the Signalchaser achievement.

How to Get Kadet

You'll first meet Kadet on Far Spindle after completing the Spindle Core clock at the Spindle Core location. This will unlock a new drive and the Stripline Express location on Far Spindle. After the cutscene, new options will become available at Stripline Express. Complete these, and you'll trigger another cutscene. When possible, head to the Scatteryards in a different part of The Belt to recruit Kadet.

Recruiting Kadet unlocks the The Spindlejack achievement.

How to Get Femi & Nia

Femi and Nia are recruited similarly, but you can only choose one. You'll initially work with Nia on Hexport, where you'll also encounter Femi. You'll meet Femi again on Floatsam, where he'll persuade you to take a Contract to ensure Nia's safety. Upon completing the Contract, you'll have the choice between recruiting Femi or Nia.

If you recruit Femi, you'll unlock the Big Brother achievement. If you recruit Nia, you'll unlock the Little Sister achievement.

How to Get Flint

After your first visit to Olivera, you'll receive a Contract to investigate the disappearance of Flint and another character. This will lead to another Contract where you must quickly prepare a trap for an enemy. When the time comes, follow Xander to rescue Flint. Successfully completing this Contract will give you the option to bring Flint aboard.

Recruiting Flint unlocks the Fugitive achievement.
