Here's the official description:

Civilization VII - VR immerses players like never before. The game world unfolds on a Command Table, allowing for both a grand overview and intimate inspection of units and buildings. Interact directly with world leaders, forging alliances or declaring war across the ages.

Play in immersive VR or mixed reality, seamlessly switching between modes. VR transports you to a personalized museum overlooking your empire, while mixed reality integrates the Command Table into your physical space. Detailed dioramas in The Archives showcase your accomplishments. Engage in online multiplayer matches with up to three other players.

The PC and console versions of Civilization VII, currently available via early access, have received mixed feedback. Steam reviews cite UI issues, limited map variety, and missing features as concerns.

Firaxis has addressed these concerns, promising UI improvements, cooperative multiplayer teams, and expanded map types.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, in an interview with IGN, acknowledged negative reviews but expressed confidence in the game's long-term appeal, describing its initial performance as "very encouraging."
