FFXVI PC: Performance Bottlenecks Even on High-End Hardware
While fans eagerly awaited the PC release, promising 4K/60fps gameplay, benchmarks reveal that even the powerful RTX 4090 struggles to maintain a consistent 60fps at native 4K with maximum settings. This unexpected performance limitation has raised concerns among PC gamers.
DSOGaming's John Papadopoulos reports significant frame rate drops below 60fps in 4K max settings. However, utilizing NVIDIA's DLSS 3 Frame Generation with DLAA reportedly boosts frame rates consistently above 80fps. DLSS 3 leverages AI to generate additional frames, while DLAA enhances image quality through anti-aliasing.
