Konami and FIFA's partnership culminates in the FIFAe World Cup 2024, a thrilling esports event taking place in Saudi Arabia! The competition, running from December 9th to 12th, features both console and mobile divisions, offering a captivating spectacle for live audiences and global viewers.
The tournament boasts a substantial prize pool of $100,000, with the top console competitors vying for a $20,000 share. Over 54 players from 22 countries will compete in intense 2v2 console matches, while 16 mobile players from 16 different nations will battle it out in 1v1 showdowns. Qualifiers concluded in October, leaving only the most skilled players to contend for the title.
Beyond the competition, viewers can also benefit! Tune in to the live streams between December 9th and 12th to claim daily rewards, including up to 4,000 eFootball points and 400,000 GP.
This collaboration marks a significant achievement for Konami, adding to their impressive portfolio of partnerships, including high-profile collaborations with football legends like Messi and popular franchises such as Captain Tsubasa. However, the impact on the average gamer remains to be seen.
