Starting tomorrow, Japanese gamers can dive into Dragon Quest X Offline on both iOS and Android platforms, with the added convenience of offline functionality. This version, which strips down the multiplayer elements to offer a single-player experience, is available at a discounted price for eager fans.

As reported by Gematsu, this mobile release follows the offline version's debut on consoles and PC in 2022, years after the original Dragon Quest X hit the market in 2012. Notably, Dragon Quest X introduces unique MMORPG elements to the franchise, including real-time combat, setting it apart from its predecessors. Interestingly, Ubitu once planned to bring Dragon Quest X to mobile back in 2013, but that never came to fruition.

Unfortunately, fans outside Japan shouldn't hold their breath for a global release just yet. The original Dragon Quest X was exclusive to Japan, and there's currently no news on an international rollout of the offline mobile version.
