Welcome to CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash, a thrilling, fast-paced action game where skill takes the spotlight. In a world ravaged by perpetual conflict, you take command of elite warriors called Chasers, whose mission is to hunt down corrupted beings and restore balance to the realms. Unlike many games, CHASERS does away with pay-to-win mechanics; every character, weapon, and upgrade is earned purely through gameplay. This beginner's guide will break down the core gameplay mechanics and game modes in simple terms to help new players advance quickly. Let's dive in!
Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics of CHASERS
CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash is a captivating action RPG set in a dynamic 3D environment where players engage in intense, fast-paced combat. You'll have access to a diverse array of characters, known officially as "Chasers." As there's no gacha system, you'll unlock more Chasers as you progress through the game. The combat mechanics are typical of modern ARPGs but with unique twists in ability execution. During battles, you'll notice two bars at the bottom of your screen: the HP (Health Points) bar and the Energy bar. The HP bar indicates your current health; if it drops to zero, your Chaser is defeated and can't continue fighting.
The Energy bar shows your current energy level, which is consumed when using your Chaser's abilities. This energy naturally regenerates over time, or you can speed it up by collecting Energy drones found in dungeons. For controls, you'll use a virtual movement wheel on mobile devices, or if you're playing on a PC via BlueStacks, you can leverage your keyboard and mouse for a smoother experience. A standout feature is the "Elphis" magic mechanic, which lets Chasers use all their abilities without draining any energy. This acts like a turbo mode, allowing you to focus on executing devastating combos. When your Elphis bar is full, it glows blue, signaling it's ready to activate. Each Chaser has unique active abilities with specific cooldowns, preventing reuse until the cooldown period ends. The ultimate ability, the most powerful in each Chaser's arsenal, recharges as they deal and take damage, glowing once fully charged.
Crafting your Team Formation in CHASERS
Strategy and team composition are crucial in CHASERS. You can deploy up to three Chasers in battle, manually selecting them or letting AI fill the slots with the strongest available based on power level. A unique feature of CHASERS' combat system is the ability to switch between Chasers instantly with a button press, with all deployed Chasers visible on the right-hand side of the screen.
Leveling Up – Using accumulated Gold and experience materials of varying rarities, you can level up your Chasers, boosting their base stats like Attack, Defense, and Health. Each Chaser has a level cap, which can be increased through advancement.
Skilling Up – Enhance your Chasers' active and passive abilities by using Rusty Bolt of Wave and Battle Data of different qualities. This improves skill damage multipliers and shortens cooldowns.
Breakthrough – This feature requires duplicate copies of the same Chaser, which can be purchased from the shop using premium currency. Each duplicate allows you to break through, enhancing stats, improving current abilities, or unlocking new ones. Chasers can be broken through up to six times.
For an enhanced gaming experience, play CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash on a larger screen using BlueStacks on your PC or laptop, complemented by the precision of a keyboard and mouse.
