Breaking: War Thunder Unveils Firebirds Update with Aircraft Addition
Gaijin Entertainment has unveiled exciting news for War Thunder players: the Firebirds update, arriving in early November, introduces a fleet of new aircraft and significant additions to the ground and naval forces. This substantial update boasts a roster of iconic military aviation assets.
New Aircraft: A Closer Look
The update introduces several highly anticipated aircraft, including the stealthy American F-117 Nighthawk, the Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, and the powerful F-15E Strike Eagle. These are joined by new ground vehicles and warships such as the British FV107 Scimitar light tank and the French Dunkerque battleship.
The F-117A Nighthawk represents a first for War Thunder, featuring cutting-edge stealth technology. Its unique design, employing radar-absorbing materials and a shape designed to deflect radar waves, allowed it to achieve remarkable success in real-world conflicts like Operation Desert Storm. The F-15E Strike Eagle, an enhanced version of the original F-15, offers significantly increased payload capacity and advanced ground target detection capabilities, boasting an impressive arsenal including AGM-65 Maverick missiles and various guided bombs.
Beyond the Skies
The Firebirds update extends beyond aircraft, incorporating new ground and naval units. The British FV107 Scimitar and the French Dunkerque battleship are notable additions to their respective branches.
The current Aces High season also offers players the chance to unlock unique vehicles and earn rewards through the Battle Pass and season completion. This includes aircraft like the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11, along with ground units such as the T54E2 and G6, and naval vessels including the HMS Orion and USS Billfish.
