Albion Online Unveils Rogue Frontier Update: Introduces Smuggler Faction
Albion Online has just released its first major update of 2025, dubbed the Rogue Frontier, and it's all about living on the edge. This update introduces a new faction, innovative trading methods, and exciting new weapons. Players now have the chance to join an underground network of outcasts who play by their own rules.

The Smugglers are the ultimate rebels and misfits, tired of the Royal Continent's oppressive rules. They've established themselves in the lawless wilds, creating hidden Smuggler's Dens. These dens serve as your base of operations where you can stash your loot and engage in various illicit activities. Equipped with banks, repair stations, and travel planners, these dens keep you well-connected and on the move.
The Smugglers operate through a Smuggler’s Network, a revolutionary trading system that links the Outlands in unprecedented ways. You can now transport goods without the usual taxes and hassles of the Royal Continent, though you'll need to pay a fee to the Smugglers. Joining their ranks means taking on missions to prove your loyalty, such as tracking down stolen Smuggler Crates from ambushed wagons or rescuing captured Smugglers from the Royal Guards. Completing these tasks earns you Smuggler’s Coins, which you can use to advance in their faction.
Let’s Look Beyond the Smuggler Action
The Rogue Frontier Update isn’t just about the Smugglers. It brings a host of other eagerly awaited features to Albion Online. The new Bank Overview feature allows you to track where all your items are stored across the game world, eliminating the hassle of remembering where you left your rare loot.
For PvP enthusiasts, Kill Trophies have been introduced, allowing you to immortalize your most epic battles. The Albion Journal now includes a Creatures category, challenging you to document the various beasts that roam the wilds.
Additionally, three new Crystal Weapons have been added, tailored for explorers, traders, and fighters alike. Don't miss out on these exciting additions—download Albion Online from the Google Play Store to experience the Rogue Frontier Update firsthand.
