Clash of Clans to Remove Troop Training Times in Major Update
Clash of Clans, a cornerstone of mobile gaming, is about to undergo a significant transformation that will undoubtedly shake up the gameplay experience for its dedicated fanbase. Supercell, the game's developer, has been gradually modernizing the game, and the latest update is set to be one of the most impactful yet. The complete removal of troop, spell, and siege unit training times is on the horizon, promising to revolutionize how players engage with the game.
Imagine being able to deploy your army almost instantly, diving into battles with unprecedented speed. This change follows Supercell's decision to eliminate training costs in 2022, marking another step towards streamlining the gameplay experience. The excitement (and perhaps some apprehension) is palpable among the community as this update approaches.
As of today, Training Potions and Training Treats will no longer be available through in-app purchases or chest rewards. However, you can still acquire them via the Trader and Gold Pass for the time being. It's crucial to use these items before the end of the month, as they will be converted to Gems thereafter. So, make sure to utilize them before they're gone!
To help players adapt to this new era, Supercell is introducing a feature called "Match Anytime." This mechanic allows you to attack a snapshot of another player's base when no real opponents are available. You'll still earn rewards, but players whose bases are used won't lose anything if defeated. This system, already in use for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, will now become a standard feature.
Keep an eye out for additional changes, such as Army Donations now requiring Elixirs or Dark Elixirs. For a comprehensive overview of all the updates, be sure to visit the Supercell blog.
