Get Ready to Catch Shroodle in Pokémon GO!

Pokémon GO trainers have a new challenge: acquiring Shroodle! This Poison-type mouse Pokémon, introduced in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, arrives in Pokémon GO on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Unlike some recent additions, catching Shroodle isn't as simple as a wild encounter.

Shroodle's Debut and Shiny Status

Shroodle's debut coincides with the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. While available after the event concludes, a Shiny Shroodle is not currently available at launch. Expect its Shiny variant to appear in a future event, possibly one focused on Poison-types or Team GO Rocket.

How to Obtain Shroodle

To catch Shroodle, you'll need to hatch 12KM Eggs. These eggs, obtainable after defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, Cliff, and Giovanni), have a chance to contain Shroodle. The probability may be higher during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, but 12KM eggs will remain a source for Shroodle post-event.

Securing 12KM Eggs

Since Shroodle is exclusively hatched from 12KM Eggs, here's a quick reminder on how to obtain them: Defeat Team GO Rocket Leaders! The Fashion Week: Taken Over event is an ideal time to stock up, as Rocket Radars will be more readily available. However, you can challenge Team GO Rocket Leaders at any time.

Evolving Shroodle into Grafaiai

Shroodle's evolution, Grafaiai, also arrives on January 15th. It's not found in the wild or hatched from eggs. To obtain Grafaiai, evolve your Shroodle using 50 Shroodle Candy. Remember to make Shroodle your buddy to expedite candy collection!
