This versatile portable media player doubles as a UPnP DLNA DMR, ensuring seamless integration into your home network for an enhanced streaming experience. It supports a wide array of subtitle formats, including SSA/ASS/SUP, making it an ideal choice for movie enthusiasts looking for a customizable viewing experience.
The player's support for UPnP DLNA allows it to function effectively as a Digital Media Renderer (DMR), enabling you to access and play media files directly through the Storage Access Framework (SAF), which users can manage according to their preferences.
For those passionate about subtitles, this player offers comprehensive SSA/ASS support. Users have the flexibility to add or manage their font files, adjust subtitle brightness to suit HDR and Dolby Vision (DV) playback, and even resize the font to their liking. From version 5.1 onwards, it also supports subtitles in SUP (Blu-ray) and VobSub (DVD) formats. Subtitles can be embedded within MKV files or loaded separately, with options to select individual files or utilize those packaged in Zip/7Z/RAR formats during playback.
Beyond subtitles, the player is equipped to handle HDR/DV content, ensuring you enjoy your media in the highest quality possible. It supports digital audio passthrough, MKV chapter navigation, frame-by-frame stepping, audio track selection and delay, subtitle selection with time offset adjustments, as well as displaying frame rates and automatically adjusting refresh rates.
For Dolby Vision enthusiasts, successful playback has been confirmed on the NVidia Shield TV 2019. The player also offers video rotation on demand and full-screen zooming through pinch gestures, enhancing your viewing flexibility.
Originally designed for segmented file playback, it supports m3u8 (HLS media list) files, which have evolved to include not only TS but also mp4 and flv formats.

This update addresses several issues, including fixes for subtitles auto-selection, the first chapter starting at 0:00, and adaptation to new systems. Users can now set a default language for subtitles directly within the selection box. Additionally, selecting a subtitle file has been made more convenient through the Storage Access Framework content page, allowing access from local storage, Samba/Windows sharing, or WebDAV clients, depending on the SAF content provider apps you're using. Efforts have also been made to resolve a DMR service crash bug, ensuring a smoother streaming experience.
