Xbox Cloud Gaming\'s beta now lets you play your own games, even outside the catalogue
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate expands cloud gaming to include your personal library! Now, you can stream games you own, even those not in the Game Pass catalog, to your phone or tablet. This update, rolling out to 28 countries, adds 50 new titles to the already impressive cloud gaming library.
Previously, cloud gaming was limited to the Game Pass catalog. This significant change opens up access to a much wider range of games.
This means you can now stream titles like Baldur's Gate 3, Space Marine 2, and more directly to your mobile device. This is a major advancement in cloud gaming accessibility.
Expanding Cloud Gaming Horizons
This expansion of cloud gaming capabilities is a welcome development. One of the biggest hurdles for cloud gaming has been the limited selection of playable titles. This update directly addresses that limitation, making it significantly more convenient to play games from your personal collection.
It will also be interesting to see how this impacts the competition between cloud gaming and traditional mobile gaming. This new feature is likely to significantly boost the appeal and accessibility of cloud gaming.
