World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Turbulent Timeways Returns!

World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, offering a whopping seven weeks of Timewalking campaigns, running until February 24th. Get ready for a nostalgic journey through WoW's history, with a chance to earn exciting new rewards and a significant experience boost.

This expanded event builds upon the success of the initial Turbulent Timeways event from September 2023. Remember the Mastery of Timeways buff? It's back! Completing four Timewalking dungeons grants this 20% experience bonus. This time, achieving Mastery of Timeways for five out of the seven weeks unlocks the coveted Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement, rewarding you with the charming Timely Buzzbee mount.

Seven Weeks of Timewalking Adventures:

The event unfolds across seven consecutive weeks, each featuring a different Timewalking expansion:

• January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
• January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
• January 21-27: Legion
• January 28-February 3: Classic
• February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
• February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
• February 18-24: Cataclysm

Beyond the Mastery buff, Timewalking vendors are stocked with new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. For those who missed it last time, the Sandy Shalewing pet is also available! And, for an added bonus, completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest awards Heroic-level gear throughout the event.

More Than Just Timewalking:

With the recent conclusion of WoW's 20th-anniversary event (which also included numerous weeks of Timewalking), players will have enjoyed a staggering 18 consecutive weeks of Timewalking by the time Turbulent Timeways ends.

The Turbulent Timeways event's conclusion date also hints at future WoW plans. The event's end on February 24th, coupled with Blizzard's typical release schedule, strongly suggests that Patch 11.1, "Undermined," will launch on February 25th, approximately ten weeks after Patch 11.0.7. With Plunderstorm's second run and The War Within's update also on the horizon, World of Warcraft is poised for a thrilling start to 2025. Prepare for adventure!
