Simultaneously, the Scourge Invasion event will unleash undead hordes across Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms, offering new quests at Light's Hope Chapel and the chance to acquire Necrotic Runes for consumable items.

Season of Discovery Phase 7 begins Tuesday, January 28th, after server maintenance. This phase includes the Scourge Invasions, the Karazhan Crypts dungeon, and the Naxxramas raid. New runes will be available from Rune Brokers across Azeroth, and Naxxramas will feature a new "Empower" difficulty setting.

New runes from Rune Brokers in starting zones and capital cities will become available with Phase 7. Beginning February 6th, the Naxxramas raid opens, offering an "Empower" difficulty option for increased challenge. After conquering Naxxramas' four wings, players can confront Sapphiron and Kel'thuzad in the Frostwyrm Lair.
