World of Warcraft Adding Recolors of Rare Mounts, But There\'s a Catch
Two exclusive WoW mounts, the Blazing Royal Fire Hawk and the Golden Ashes of Al'ar, are coming to World of Warcraft China. These mounts are re-imagined versions of the incredibly rare Pureblood Fire Hawk and Ashes of Al'ar, respectively.
These new mounts will be available through special promotions starting January 15th, exclusively in China. The Blazing Royal Fire Hawk features auspicious clouds during flight, a nod to Chinese culture, while the Golden Ashes of Al'ar boasts a gilded appearance and a black saddle, referencing Kael'thas Sunstrider.
The Blazing Royal Fire Hawk will be obtainable through a "Treasure Workshop" event, details of which are yet to be fully revealed. The Golden Ashes of Al'ar is available through Landro's Loot Box, a ¥200 (approximately $27 USD) crate containing one of eight items, including other coveted prizes like the X-51 Nether Rocket X-TREME and the Swift Spectral Tiger. Group purchases offer bonus crates.
While these mounts are currently China-exclusive, their availability in other regions remains uncertain. For now, players outside China can only appreciate these visually stunning additions to the game from afar.
