Acquiring New Weapons

New weapons are primarily found by exploring Overgrowths. Look for sword (Blades – melee) or pistol (Rails – ranged) icons on the map to locate these weapon types. Blades offer varied movesets and abilities, while Rails provide diverse ranged options. Both weapon types have varying rarities, with gold being the most powerful. Higher rarity generally equates to superior stats. Use the Cache function to store found weapons for later use, rather than equipping them immediately. You can equip these cached weapons before starting subsequent runs.

Obtaining New Starting Weapons

Beyond discovering weapons during gameplay, players can purchase new starting weapons from merchants at the Cursed Outpost. Initially, only the Blades merchant is accessible.
