Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Gets Final Major Content Update

Summary

Rocksteady Studios has released the final major content update, Season 4 Episode 8, for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, this update concludes the game's live-service content. While no further content will be developed, online servers will remain active.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, released in February 2024 to mixed reception, will see its online support end on January 14th, as announced by Rocksteady on December 9th, 2024. Despite its short lifespan of 10 months, the game's online features will remain accessible, allowing players to continue enjoying the experience with friends.

Following a brief period of server downtime, Season 4 Episode 8: Balance is now live. This final update introduces a Libra-themed Infamy Set, powerful Notorious weapons, and a climactic Mayhem mission against Brainiac. Significant bug fixes and gameplay improvements, including reduced Squad Level XP requirements, are also included.

The December update, Season 4 Episode 7, introduced offline play, allowing players to access the main campaign and seasonal missions without an internet connection. This ensures continued accessibility even if the online servers are eventually shut down.

For those who haven't yet played, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is currently available on PlayStation Plus until February 3rd, alongside The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered.
