April 9

⚫︎ SHIFT UP, the developer behind Stellar Blade, has partnered with figure maker JND Studios to launch pre-orders for 1/3 scale hyper-realistic figures of characters EVE and Tachy. The Dual version, priced at $3,599, sold out within minutes on April 18, while limited stock remains for the individual EVE figure at $2,199. These stunning statues are set to be released in Q3 2026.

⚫︎ JND Studios is set to bring fans officially licensed, hyper-realistic figurines of Stellar Blade's protagonist Eve and the eighth boss Tachy. Announced initially in July 2024, the collaboration with Shift-Up was finalized on April 8, 2025, specifying the characters to be featured. These collectibles are expected to hit the shelves later this year.

⚫︎ During the latest State of Play, Shift Up unveiled that Stellar Blade will be available on PC in June 2025. Alongside this announcement, they confirmed the arrival of the Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLC in the same month, which will introduce a new boss battle, collectible dolls and stickers, and a new outfit for players to enjoy.

⚫︎ To kick off the new year, Shift Up Studio generously awarded each employee with a PlayStation 5 Pro console and a collective monetary bonus of ¥1,000,000 (approximately $32,000). This gesture follows the successful 2023 debut of Stellar Blade on the PS5, which received positive reviews, robust sales, and multiple nominations at The Game Awards.

⚫︎ Stellar Blade's protagonist Eve clinched a win at the PlayStation Blog's Game of the Year 2024 Awards in the Best New Character category. Eve outshone competitors such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Jane Harrow, Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s Emmrich Volkarin, and Rise of the Rōnin’s Ryoma Sakamoto. Other notable mentions included Metaphor: ReFantazio’s Strohl, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail’s Wuk Lamat, and Helldivers 2’s General Brasch, each receiving significant fan support.

⚫︎ Stellar Blade is set to celebrate the holiday season with a festive event in Xion starting December 17, 2024. The city square and The Last Gulp gathering hall will be adorned with holiday lights, a colorful Christmas tree, and seasonal decorations. Players can enjoy the soothing new BGM tracks “Dawn (Winter)” and “Take Me Away,” and participate in a holiday-themed mini-game for rewards.

November 26

⚫︎ Shift Up has released a patch to address issues from the Stellar Blade x Nier Automata update. This update introduced Nier Automata-themed cosmetics and a new Photo Mode but resulted in crashes and missing costumes. The hotfix improves Photo Mode stability and restores any missing Nier Automata outfits, ensuring a seamless experience for players.

⚫︎ On November 11, 2024, Shift Up Studio's technical director Donki Lee announced two significant updates for Stellar Blade. The first is a free update (version 1.009.001) that includes four new outfits, one new accessory, expanded lip-sync support, and a new photo mode. The second update involves the launch of the first paid DLC, a crossover with NieR: Automata, developed in collaboration with Directors Kim Hyung Tae and Yoko Taro.

⚫︎ Despite high expectations, Stellar Blade did not make the cut for Game of the Year at The Game Awards, prompting discussions on social media, particularly regarding the nomination of Elden Ring's DLC.
