"Star Wars: KOTOR Remake Developer Confirms All Promised Features Still in Development"
Saber Interactive has reassured fans that all of its previously announced games are still actively in development, despite the ongoing silence surrounding major titles like the much-anticipated Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) remake. Following the recent announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3, Saber's Chief Creative Officer, Tim Willits, took to social media to affirm the studio's commitment to its projects.
"Saber Interactive stands as one of the largest independent developers globally," Willits stated. "Our portfolio spans numerous games across various genres. Rest assured, every project we've announced is still being developed. We will unveil more about our upcoming titles when we have exciting updates to share."

The statement from Willits is particularly poignant for fans eagerly awaiting updates on the KOTOR remake. Announced back in 2021, this project has been shrouded in mystery, undergoing multiple developer transitions, apparent pauses, and restarts. Despite these challenges, the remake has yet to see the light of day after four years.
In April 2024, Saber Interactive's CEO, Matthew Karch, confirmed that the KOTOR project had moved with the studio during its separation from Embracer Group, and it remains under active development. "It's clear and it's obvious that we're working on this," Karch affirmed at the time. "The game is alive and well, and we are dedicated to surpassing consumer expectations."
Willits' recent comments, almost a year after Karch's statement, further validate the ongoing work on the KOTOR remake. However, fans have yet to see any new material beyond the initial announcement trailer.
In addition to the KOTOR remake, Saber Interactive is also diligently working on several other titles slated for release. John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park Survival are both still scheduled for 2025, though specific release dates remain undisclosed. The studio is also developing a new Turok game and an untitled project based on Avatar: The Last Airbender.
The latest addition to Saber's lineup is Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3. For more insights on what this game might feature, including potential chapters and enemy factions, be sure to check out IGN's dedicated article.
