Stalker 2: "Find the Punchline" Quest Guide

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl features many engaging NPC interactions, often leading to small quests. One such unique encounter is with Lyonchyk Sprat in Rookie Village. This guide details how to find and complete his "Joke" quest.

Finding and Starting the Quest

Locate Lyonchyk Sprat in Rookie Village (Cordon region). Upon reaching the village center, you'll hear him call out. He'll initially attempt (and fail) to tell a joke. He'll then ask for your help delivering a joke to a group of stalkers around a bonfire to gain their friendship. Agreeing begins the quest.

Completing the Joke Quest

Lyonchyk instructs you to climb into the attic of a nearby house (a ladder is visible beside the bonfire). Wait there.

You'll be presented with several joke options. Choosing any option results in a successful joke delivery and quest completion. The audience's reaction varies depending on the joke selected.

Claiming Your Reward

After the interaction, descend and speak with Lyonchyk. He'll reward you with 900 coupons for your assistance in gaining entry to the stalker circle.

Failure Condition

If you don't choose a joke option and let Lyonchyk deliver the joke himself, the quest fails. He'll run off crying, blaming you.
