A 2026 Release Date

Housemarque's Saros, a PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro exclusive, is set to launch sometime in 2026. Building upon the success of Returnal, Saros promises to refine and expand upon the thrilling third-person action gameplay. The game will feature Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.

Evolving Gameplay, Permanent Progression

According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived as a distinct IP to allow Returnal to stand alone. While Returnal offered a roguelike structure with shifting environments, Saros will introduce persistent character progression, allowing players to enhance their weapons and suits, embodying the game's "Come Back Stronger" philosophy. This will enable players to overcome challenges more effectively with each playthrough.
