How to Get Pose of the Unbound Emote in FFXIV

With the arrival of patch 7.16 in *Final Fantasy XIV*, players have new quests to embark on and fresh cosmetics to adorn their characters. One of the highlights of this update is the new Pose of the Unbound emote. Here's how you can add this unique Jojo-inspired pose to your emote collection in *FFXIV*.

Acquiring the Pose of the Unbound Emote in FFXIV

To unlock the Pose of the Unbound emote in *FFXIV*, you must complete the quest titled "Imposing Views." You can initiate this quest by speaking with the Unbound Agent NPC, located in Ul’dah – Steps of Thal at coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5.

Before you can access "Imposing Views," you'll need to have completed the quest "Picking Up the Torch." To unlock "Picking Up the Torch," you must first complete all five role quests available in the game. This involves reaching level 100 with a Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS class. Once at the required level, head to Tulliyollal to pick up and complete the respective role quests. Completing these will grant you access to "Picking Up the Torch," and subsequently, "Imposing Views" in Ul’dah.

The "Imposing Views" quest is relatively straightforward. You'll need to visit the Sagolii Desert, engage in conversations with Apyaahi multiple times, and defeat a few monsters. Upon successful completion of this quest, you will be rewarded with the Pose of the Unbound emote.

To use your new emote, simply type the command "/unbound" or "/poseoftheunbound" in the chat box and press Enter. Your character will then strike the amusing Jojo-inspired pose.
