Pokemon TCG Pocket Lapras Ex Complete Event Guide

The Pokémon TCG Pocket Lapras EX Drop Event: A Comprehensive Guide

Pokémon TCG Pocket constantly expands its card collection with new events introducing fresh variants and cards. This guide covers everything you need for the Lapras EX drop event.

Event Dates:

The Lapras EX drop event runs from November 5th to November 18th, 12:59 a.m. Eastern Time. Players can participate in special battles for new card variants and the Lapras EX. Additional rewards include Pack Hourglasses for opening more booster packs.

Event Participation:

Ensure your Pokémon TCG Pocket app is updated. Navigate to the Battles tab, select Solo, and choose the "Lapras EX Drop Event" category. Four AI battles using a Lapras EX deck await. Each battle offers first-clear and chance rewards through repeated play.

All battles offer a Promo Pack as a chance reward; only the Expert battle guarantees it. All decks are Water-type, making a Lightning-type meta deck (like Pikachu EX) advantageous.

Event Hourglasses:

Each battle consumes one Event stamina, refreshing every 12 hours (maximum five). Earned Event Hourglasses replenish stamina.

Optimal Decks and Strategies:

A Pikachu EX deck is highly effective due to Lightning-type attacks dealing extra damage to Water-type Pokémon in the event. Consider substituting EX cards with less rare options (Helioptile/Heliolisk or Magnemite/Magneton) to meet challenge requirements.

Promo Pack Rewards:

Promo Packs contain one card each: Mankey, Pikachu, Clefairy, Butterfree, and Lapras EX (a new variant for each except Lapras EX, which is a new card). Lapras EX has 140 HP, the Bubble Drain attack (80 damage, 20 HP heal), and a retreat cost of 3.
