New Paldean Pokemon Added in Upcoming Pokemon GO Event

Niantic has announced that Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai, will make their debut in Pokemon GO as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. This event kicks off on January 15 and brings a variety of exciting bonuses and raids for Pokemon GO players.

Shroodle, a Poison/Normal-type introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, is characterized by its large head and eyes, which make up about half of its body. At level 28, Shroodle evolves into Grafaiai, a small primate resembling a lemur with distinctive large eyes and three-fingered hands. Both creatures have also appeared in Pokemon Horizons episodes.

During the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, which runs from January 15 at 12 am to January 19 at 8 pm local time, players can encounter Shroodle by hatching 12 km eggs. Shroodle can then be evolved into Grafaiai using 50 Shroodle Candy. Additionally, Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokeStops and in balloons, and players can use a Charged TM to help Shadow Pokemon forget the Charged Attack Frustration. Taking a snapshot during the event may lead to an encounter with Croagunk dressed in a fashion week outfit.

Shadow Raids will feature seven different monsters, with the addition of Remote Raid Passes for these battles. New Field Research tasks will offer rewards like Mysterious Components, Charged and Fast TMs. The event also includes themed Showcases and Collection Challenges. The Web Store will feature new offers, and a 300-coin bundle containing an Incubator, a Rocket Radar, and a Premium Battle Pass will be available in the in-game shop.
