Sword of Convallaria's Night Crimson Update: New Story, Characters, and Events

XD Inc. has unleashed the Night Crimson update for its popular tactical RPG, Sword of Convallaria. This expansion, hot on the heels of the game's July launch, delivers a wealth of new content for millions of players across PC and mobile platforms.

The update continues the Spiral of Destinies campaign, focusing on Waverun City and introducing a novel investigative clue wall mechanic. This innovative gameplay blends detective work with tactical combat, requiring players to solve mysteries and make strategic choices under the guidance of Safiyyah, the Mobile Squad's leader.

Night Crimson also introduces SP Characters – alternate versions of existing characters boasting unique appearances and combat skills. SP Rawiyah debuts January 3rd, followed by SP Taair on January 17th. Unlocking these SP forms grants an exclusive SP skill, boosting the combat prowess of both the original and SP versions.

Beyond the new characters and quests, the Night Crimson events (running since December 20th) offer generous rewards. Complete these events to earn Secret Fates, legendary trinkets, and exclusive avatar frames. The Waverun Tournament, commencing January 3rd, allows players to exchange event points for special items, providing a strategic advantage in battles.

This update also offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at Sword of Convallaria's development, including developer messages hinting at future content and a video message from Safiyyah's Japanese voice actor. A new theme song, "Never Apart," is also included, featuring a Japanese version performed by Hikasa Yoko.
