Netmarble’s Beat 'Em Up King Of Fighters ALLSTAR Is Shutting Down Soon
Netmarble's popular fighting game, King of Fighters ALLSTAR, is set to conclude its run this year. The official announcement on Netmarble forums confirmed the game's shutdown date as October 30th, 2024. In-game purchases have already been disabled since June 26th, 2024.
This news is disappointing for fans of the action-packed RPG, which enjoyed a successful six-year run, featuring numerous high-profile fighting game crossovers based on SNK's iconic King of Fighters franchise. Despite positive player feedback praising its impressive animations and competitive PvP modes, the developers hinted at challenges in continuing to add new fighters to the roster as a contributing factor to the shutdown. Other unspecified issues may also have played a role.
While the game experienced some recent optimization problems and occasional crashes, it still managed to amass millions of downloads across Google Play and the App Store. Players have approximately four months remaining to enjoy King of Fighters ALLSTAR before the servers go offline in October. Don't miss your chance to experience its legendary battles!
