Marvel Snap Goes Offline in the US along with Other Apps

Marvel Snap has been pulled from US app stores. This news coincides with the ban of TikTok in the US, and the two events are indeed related. Both Marvel Snap, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and CapCut are owned by ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok.

Why the US Removal of Marvel Snap?

ByteDance is currently facing intense scrutiny from US lawmakers regarding national security and data privacy concerns. To preempt a more extensive crackdown, the company has proactively removed these apps from US app stores.

There's optimism that TikTok might return, at least temporarily. If that happens, it's possible Marvel Snap and other ByteDance apps could also be reinstated. The US market represents a significant portion of these games' player base and revenue, making a permanent ban a considerable blow.

The future of Marvel Snap's availability in the US remains uncertain. For now, we await further developments. Players outside the US can continue enjoying the game via the Google Play Store.
