Lies of P Gameplay Unveiled in 'State of Play' Trailer

Lies of P's prequel, Overture, is coming Summer 2025.

Revealed during Sony's State of Play 2025, Lies of P: Overture will launch on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. The prequel DLC delves into the origins of the Puppet Frenzy, showcasing events preceding the main game. A gameplay trailer offers glimpses of new environments, bosses, and a mysterious guide.

Lies of P: Overture expands the world of the critically acclaimed (IGN 8/10) Souls-like action RPG. It places players in Krat, a city on the cusp of the Puppet Frenzy, during its final days of Belle Époque splendor. Players assume the role of Geppetto's puppet, guided by a Legendary Stalker, uncovering hidden lore and engaging in pivotal battles that shape the Lies of P timeline.

Lies of P: Overture Key Features:

• Explore Krat's Untold History: Journey through previously unseen areas of Krat, experiencing its beauty and impending doom. Discover opulent mansions, eerie ruins, and more, encountering formidable new enemies.

• Meet the Legendary Stalker: Unravel the past alongside Lea, the Legendary Stalker, and their quest for vengeance. Discover untold stories and hidden truths about familiar and new characters.

• Master New Combat Styles: Confront challenging enemies in treacherous environments. Unlock a fresh arsenal of weapons and Legion Arms, crafting a unique combat style.

• Epic Boss Battles: Engage in intense battles against powerful new bosses, shaping the fate of a world on the brink of collapse.

Round8 Studio's Jiwon Choi stated, "Lies of P: Overture lets us fully explore our universe's past and present." Neowiz, Lies of P's publisher, previously hinted at this DLC and confirmed plans for a sequel. The original Lies of P sold over one million copies in its first month (launching September 18, 2023 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Mac via the Mac App Store).
