Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Best Sleeping Spots
Rest and recovery are vital in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Sleeping fully restores your health, eliminating the need for excessive food or potions. Here's how to find a place to catch some Z's.
How to Get a Bed and Sleep in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*
Early in the game, securing a bed is a top priority. During the "Wedding Crashers" quest, you'll choose to follow either the blacksmith (Radovan) or the miller (Kreyzl). Both will eventually provide you with a place to sleep.
In my playthrough, I chose Radovan in Tachov due to its proximity to the starting area. Complete his questline, including the smithing tutorial, and you'll gain access to a bed in the room next to the forge.

This bed will be marked on your world map as your designated sleeping spot. A nearby chest provides convenient storage. Whenever you need to heal, return here to rest.
Sleeping at Campsites
When immediate access to your bed isn't possible, numerous campsites scattered throughout the game world offer alternative resting places. Some may be occupied by bandits—requiring a little pre-sleep action—while others are conveniently empty.
Campsites are indicated on your map. Interact with the bedrolls to sleep. While not as comfortable as a proper bed, they effectively restore your health.
Sleeping in NPCs' beds is a last resort. Getting caught could lead to a run-in with the guards unless you can successfully talk your way out of trouble.
That's how to sleep soundly in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. For more tips and guides, including torch usage and optimal perk selections, check out The Escapist.
