Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Official Mod Support on the Way
Warhorse Studios has announced that official modding support is coming soon to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, allowing players to unleash their creativity and reshape medieval Bohemia.
The developers revealed their plans to integrate modding tools via Steamworks in a brief Steam post. While no release date or specifics were provided, the post confirmed the team's intention to add this feature in the future. Warhorse Studios simply stated that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 mods will empower players to "create, tweak, and expand" the game world as they see fit. Although unofficial mods are already thriving on platforms like Nexus Mods, an official teaser image (below) showcases the potential, depicting Henry with a rather striking zebra mount and a fish-shaped sword.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's impressive launch earlier this month has clearly paved the way for ambitious post-launch plans from Warhorse. Beyond Steamworks mod support, players can anticipate three expansions throughout 2025. The DLC rollout begins this summer with Brushes with Death, followed by Legacy of the Forge in the fall and Mysteria Ecclesia in the winter. These expansions will enrich Henry's story, complemented by free content updates introducing features like Hardcore Mode and Horse Racing.
