Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins Unveiled!

The asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight (DbD), is thrilled to announce a chilling collaboration with legendary Japanese horror manga artist, Junji Ito. This partnership brings eight terrifying new character skins inspired by Ito's iconic works to the game.

A Collection of Nightmares

For 40 years, Junji Ito has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique brand of surreal horror. Now, his chilling creations take center stage in Dead by Daylight's "ultimate horror collaboration." The collection features skins based on several of his most famous works, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors."

The Killers receiving new skins are The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. The Spirit and The Artist boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with custom audio and sound effects. Specifically, The Spirit will sport a Tomie skin, while The Artist will be transformed into Miss Fuchi from "Rumors." Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also receive new Ito-inspired looks.

Junji Ito himself was involved in bringing his creations to life in Dead by Daylight. In a video shared on Dead by Daylight's official X (formerly Twitter) account, Ito expressed his delight at seeing his characters realized in the game, commenting on how they had become even more terrifying in their new digital form. He even took part in a gameplay session, playing as The Artist with her Miss Fuchi skin.

The Junji Ito collection launches January 7th, 2025, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Prepare for a truly unforgettable horror experience!
