Unraveling the Secrets of the Fountain of Confession in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

This guide details how to conquer the intricate Fountain of Confession puzzle within the Vatican section of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, a challenge worthy of the silver screen. Solving this puzzle unlocks the mystery surrounding the giants.

Accessing the Puzzle:

After escaping the Vatican's underground and acquiring the scroll from the Giant's tomb, locate the Fountain of Confession using your in-game map. The entrance is accessible via a set of stairs in the outer courtyard (exit Antonio's office as you did in the Sacred Wounds mission). Remember to photograph all clues for Adventure Points!

Phase 1: The Dragon Statues:

1. Retrieve the fountain key from the chest near the construction area to the right of the fountain. This unlocks the storage room.

2. Use your whip to rappel to the rooftop, then swing across to the window overlooking the fountain.

3. You'll find two dragon statues. Swing to the second statue and grab the protruding claw to activate a lever.

4. Rotate the statue using the lever until it faces the opposite dragon. Repeat this process with the other statue, noting its missing claw.

5. The missing claw is on the scaffolding below. Rappel down to retrieve it. A cutscene featuring Gina Lombardi will ensue.

6. Replace the claw and rotate the statues to face each other. This rotates the central fountain statue.

Phase 2: The Blocked Gate:

Rappelling back down, you'll find a gate blocked by three statues. A lever appears near the fountain; activating it reveals the first wall puzzle.

Phase 3: Wall Puzzles:

• Puzzle 1 (Baptism): Position the larger male statue under the water spout, activate the water mechanism, and push the statue towards the smaller statue to "baptize" it. This moves the left-side statue.

• Puzzle 2 (Angel): Manipulate the stone path layers using the handles to guide the angel figure to the right side of the wall. This moves the center statue.

• Final Step: Push the remaining central statue through the gate to activate a spiral stairway.
