Hasbro Unveils G.I. Joe Cold Slither Heavy Metal Box Set

IGN has an exclusive first look at Hasbro's latest addition to the G.I. Joe Classified line, and it's truly remarkable. This new box set showcases the notorious Cobra villain Zartan and his Dreadnoks, transformed into the heavy metal band Cold Slither, complete with their iconic stage outfits.

The G.I. Joe Classified: Dreadnoks Cold Slither - Band of Vipers action figure set draws inspiration from a memorable episode of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. The Cold Slither set includes meticulously crafted 6-inch figures of Zartan, Ripper, Buzzer, and Torch, all dressed for their Band of Vipers World Tour concert. Accompanying these figures are an impressive 29 accessories, including a variety of musical instruments such as a guitar, bass, keytar, and drum set. The packaging itself is designed to replicate the Springfield Theater, adding an extra layer of nostalgia and authenticity.

This exclusive box set will be available only at San Diego Comic-Con, taking place from July 24-27, 2025. Limited quantities will also be offered on the Hasbro Pulse website following the event.

For fans who appreciate a more retro feel, Hasbro is collaborating with Super7 to introduce Cold Slither Zartan to the Super7's ReAction+ line. This 3.75-inch figure, modeled after the classic A Real American Hero toys, features O-Ring construction and vintage-style packaging. It glows in the dark when exposed to UV light and comes with microphone and guitar accessories. Priced at $20, the Cold Slither Zartan ReAction+ figure will be available for preorder on the Super7 website starting April 3 at 9:15am PT.

Hasbro is fully embracing the musical theme by releasing an actual Cold Slither album in collaboration with Reigning Phoenix Music. Here's the official description of the Cold Slither album:
