Hands-On with Low-Budget Repairs: Beta Testing Starts Soon
Low-Budget Repairs, a 1990s-themed repair simulator, is finally opening its doors (or rather, patching its leaky ones) for beta testing! Gray2RGB announced a limited-access Steam beta starting March 3rd, lasting two weeks. Interested players can apply, but spots are limited. Testers will be tasked with bug reporting and completing a feedback survey upon completion.
The game throws you into the chaotic world of running a cut-rate repair business in 1990s Poland. Expect duct tape fixes, paint-splattered walls, brick-sealed windows, and cat doors fashioned from sawed-off doors. The only constant? The ever-present beer supply to keep spirits (and possibly the questionable repairs) afloat.
Your duties as a low-budget repairman include:
- Tackling a variety of room repairs and emergencies, from rescuing flooded bathrooms to overhauling entire apartments.
- Employing the cheapest (and often most questionable) methods: thinning paint, tile-laying without a level, and the occasional furniture-tossing-out-the-window maneuver.
- Scouring hardware stores for bargain-bin tools – think hammers that shatter after a few uses and drills with a penchant for mid-job explosions.
- Ignoring customer preferences completely – payment is guaranteed regardless of the repair's…aesthetic qualities.
Get ready for a hilariously chaotic experience! Apply for the beta and be among the first to experience the unique charm of Low-Budget Repairs.
